Dr. Rong Zeng
Dr. Rong Zeng received his B.S. degree and completed his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry both from Zhejiang University, China, with Prof. Shengming Ma. In 2013, he joined the group of Prof. Guangbin Dong at University of Texas at Austin as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2016, he moved to Israel and joined the group of Prof. David Milstein. In May 2018, he started his independent career at Xi'an Jiao Tong University as a principal investigator. His expertise is in the field of organic synthesis, catalysis, and organometallics chemistry. His future research interests lie at the synthesis of new transition-metal complexes and development of powerful chemical tools for addressing questions of energy and environmental chemistry as well as synthetic chemistry. His research program will bring together the complimentary knowledge of organometallic chemistry, organic synthesis, and environmental and energy chemistry.
